GUBA Awards wanted to launch their first ever awards in the USA. They needed reach out to Africans in the diaspora, and ultimately to book 70 dinner tables using digital marketing.

Objectives:

  • Create massive brand awareness about the awards events using digital channels
  • Reach Africans in the diaspora residing in the USA with promotional video
  • Create value for sponsors through digital outreach
  • Book 70 dinner tables ranging in price from $250 to $6,000

Deliverables:

  • Created a 3 stage digital campaign utilizing social media, search and display ads
  • Reached over a million African in the USA
  • Sold out early bird tickets in a week
  • Sold out all 70 tables through Eventbrite.
